Who We Are<\/h1>\n

Coastal Legal Compliance Services was established in 2012 with focus in providing Health and Safety Services through consultancy and mentorship to small, micro and medium enterprises (SMME’s), public sector and large corporates. Our mainstay is in designing and implementing customised and efficient methods of Health and Safety in a cost effective manner for our clients.<\/p>\n

Legislative Compliance Specialist (hereafter referred to as LCS) is a company specialising in assisting its clients in managing their legal exposures in the areas of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment.<\/p>\n

Health and Safety is an embracing multi-disciplinary topic and requires knowledge of a wide range of subjects: law and compliance, risk\/safety management, occupational health and hygiene, ergonomics and human factors. The volume of health and safety legislation has increased rapidly because of national legislation, the social dimension of the South Africa, and case law. Many areas that were considered relatively straightforward have become increasingly complex and more detailed, i.e. Construction.<\/p>\n

An organisation needs to take health and safety legislation beyond mere compliance. To add real value the should be capable of anticipating and evaluating proposed changes in the law, so that the organisation can plan, prepare and implement sound policies. LCS can advise clients about the implications of existing and impending legislation on resources and business objectives.<\/p>\n

Our focus is on providing clients with specailised legal support, backed by a legal team with significant experience in the areas mentioned above. The staff represents a multi-discipline team of lawyers, safety professionals and project managers.<\/p>\n
